Welcome to Shooting-the-Breeze.com

A site for airgunners that like to talk about it, as much as they like to do it...

Here we hope you will find up to date information, news and reviews, and as much info as we can pack in about competition airgun shooting in the UK and indeed, around the world.
As well as information and results, we'll be posting regular articles and reviews about aspects of the sports that we find interesting.
Organisations and clubs are welcomed to add info and events to the calender, and there are facilities for members such as a discussion forum and galleries etc.

On the left you'll find links to the forum and your control panel, and the search facility.
On the right you'll find the calender, which links to a thread in the forum specific to each event.
Below you'll find the news headlines, articles, polls and recent active threads from the forum.

If you have any feedback, please let us know by clicking here.

» M.a.d monthly comp in the forest
Mar 30, 2017 - 7:48 PM - by The Dictator
Yes folks its that time again.
This months Sunday monthly will be held in our lovely woods. This is a brand new course, held strictly to the federations very latest rules.
As usual all targets are the same for everyone, so no advantage to be gained.
We've set a particularly easy course this month, so you can take advantage of that and tell your friends about your new P.B at MAD.
Weather is set to be sunny and 15 degrees and of course NO WIND!
Also on offer is our large plinking range and practice course.
Quality food will be served by Mr Bainbridge so you wont go hungry.
Kick of is at eleven with compulsory safety just before.
A fortune in cash and heaps of gold will also be won by some lucky person.
More info on www.madarc.net or 07449895053.
Cheers.
Rich.

A great turnout tonight, with shooters travelling from as far as Derbyshire!
Plenty of newbies too which is great to see.
The format tonight was 20 shots HFT style, with a bank of 5 silhouettes standing and another 5 kneeling. This made for a few pained faces but overall everyone seemed happyish.
Well done to young Emily Palmer who not only put in a very respectable first time score, but also slaughtered her dad!
Scores below.

Misfits will be hosting a mini league competition on a Tuesday evening.
It will consist of a 10 target course that you will shoot twice, so 20 shots in total.
One target will be a unsupported kneel or stand to be shot in each position.
The league will start on Tuesday 2nd May, and will run each week for 18 weeks, with the last round being Tuesday 29th August.
Your best 10 percentages to count towards your overall position in the league.
Start time will be from 6:30pm, it will be run informally,so no safety Brief just turn up when you can, pick up a score card and go and shoot,

We will be charging £3 for members and £5 for non members, a honesty box will be with the scorecards.

There will be trophies for 1st,2nd and 3rd.
