Welcome to

A site for airgunners that like to talk about it, as much as they like to do it...

Here we hope you will find up to date information, news and reviews, and as much info as we can pack in about competition airgun shooting in the UK and indeed, around the world.
As well as information and results, we'll be posting regular articles and reviews about aspects of the sports that we find interesting.
Organisations and clubs are welcomed to add info and events to the calender, and there are facilities for members such as a discussion forum and galleries etc.

On the left you'll find links to the forum and your control panel, and the search facility.
On the right you'll find the calender, which links to a thread in the forum specific to each event.
Below you'll find the news headlines, articles, polls and recent active threads from the forum.

If you have any feedback, please let us know by clicking here.

» A shoot with a difference - HFT Pairs Charity Shoot
Jan 23, 2017 - 4:44 PM - by fastnick
In conjunction with those awfully nice people at Mile Oak Shooting Club, near Brighton in deepest Sussex, CompAir Magazine will be staging the HFT Pairs Charity Shoot on Bank Holiday Monday 29th May.

Each pair will be made up of one shooter armed with a PCP rifle, whilst his/her team-mate will go into battle with a springer. The competition will be run over a 30 peg, UKAHFT rules course, so each pair can score a maximum of 4 points per peg and their combined total score will be out of 120.

The entry fee of just £10 per shooter includes a bacon roll for breakfast on arrival and a post-shoot burger to be enjoyed whilst Charles Peal and his team tot up the scores. CompAir Magazine will be providing the trophies, and proceeds will go to the Cancervive Charity.

If you could let us know if you are intending to come along by adding your name below, that would be greatly appreciated as it will help us to know in advance how many burgers and how much bacon to order in

So, be sure to keep Monday 29 May free so that you can come along and join in all the fun and games, as well as helping to raise... [Read More]

» Cambridge WINTER DIABOLICAL 2017

Cambridge HFT Winter Diabolical 2017

Maybe 2017 isnít going to be so bad after all. Here we were at the annual ďShooty HorribilisĒ and for once there wasnít a hint of sleet, snow or a scathing blizzard of a wind headed straight from the frozen Urals. Yes the ground was frozen and yes the climate was decidedly on the brisk side but this was almost, well, pleasant.
Dare I say it we actually had some sightings of the sun. Quite.
It was lovely to welcome back our Dutch friends too; thank you all so much for making the trip and we hope you didnít take too much of our mud back with you.
As ever this was a particularly fiendish course beset by Tony Haas with assistance from Chris Boulton. As a general rule for the Cambridge Diabolicals;
1. I can see the target!
- No, thatís the wrong target.
2. I think I can see the target but there appears to be a tree directly in front of it.
-Yes, thatís the target.
3. I can only see one target and thatís if I stand up, but itís really small, really far away and has a tiny killzone.
-Yes, thatís the target.

You get the picture. All of which makes the winning scores in each of our classes all the more remarkable. I canít... [Read More]
