Welcome to Shooting-the-Breeze.com

A site for airgunners that like to talk about it, as much as they like to do it...

Here we hope you will find up to date information, news and reviews, and as much info as we can pack in about competition airgun shooting in the UK and indeed, around the world.
As well as information and results, we'll be posting regular articles and reviews about aspects of the sports that we find interesting.
Organisations and clubs are welcomed to add info and events to the calender, and there are facilities for members such as a discussion forum and galleries etc.

On the left you'll find links to the forum and your control panel, and the search facility.
On the right you'll find the calender, which links to a thread in the forum specific to each event.
Below you'll find the news headlines, articles, polls and recent active threads from the forum.

If you have any feedback, please let us know by clicking here.

Thanks for visiting Shooting-the-Breeze.com
» The British HFT Pairs Championship 2018
Nov 23, 2017 - 11:42 AM - by fastnick
The inaugural British HFT Pairs Championship will take place on Sunday 29 July 2018 at The Misfits HFT Club.

There'll be a choice of 2 classes to enter - choose between the PCP/PCP Pairs Class, or for those who prefer a "proper" challenge, we have the PCP/Recoil Pairs Class (we reckon that this class carries superior bragging rights, especially if your pairs score beats that of the PCP/PCP pairings )

The competition will be shot over a 30 peg course, set to current UKAHFT rules, and has been sanctioned and endorsed by the UKAHFT.

The event is limited to 60 pairs of shooters, and we are therefore advising competitors to get the entry in early in order to avoid disappointment. Entry forms will be available via the CompAir website shortly.

» WFTC 2019 England FAQ thread
Nov 20, 2017 - 6:04 PM - by EFTA
As there's bound to be several questions being asked we have put this thread in place so people can refer to commonly asked questions and answers.

Has a venue been selected?

No. The EFTA WCC are currently reviewing venues and once a decision has been made we will publish the information in due course.

Has a date been selected?

No. This will be venue dependent, but the EFTA WCC are hoping it will be a summer date during the school holidays.

What will it cost?

The EFTA WCC will confirm costs once a venue and all the appropriate budgeting has been done.

Will there be one or two sessions?

This as yet is undecided.
