Put end of barrel but it is more like about the end of my barrel which is where my front foot is that is touching the peg holding my tape measure in place.

End of the barrel simply because the range that I use to set up has the range plates set out and where I sit, muzzle is pretty much the firing line.
It just means that I always have a totally repeatable set-up to check distances if I need to.

I would guess that the difference from muzzle to scope with the different options in the pole makes less than a yard difference anyway.

Front of scope for me as when i sit down at the gate the front of the scope is usually on the firing line. As Conor says it doesn't matter really as long as your clicks correspond.
