Default New club in NZ holds first FT comp

Wellington airgunners club in New Zealand held their first formal 40 shot FT comp on the weekend, a small group but friendly and keen.

They are blessed with a lovely location, so I popped along to check it out. It is big enough (similar size and aspect as Mutango) to host WFTF champs with facilties onsite, so might be in your future if you attend our event in 5 years. Set in native NZ bush but with large open lawn areas not used on the weekend, just a small section of a bush walking track used. International airport and 5 star hotels within half hour drive, or campervan/tent/dorm accommodation and pool on site.

Some pics of WAG's first FT event, and some of the locals and a few out of towners. This club is started up in the Nation's Capital, so may become an important centre of FT shooting in time.

So enjoy a few pics:

Brooklands, just 5 mins East of Wainuiomata.

NZ Dollar dropping like a stone currently, might be very affordable soon.
