Default Hello from Canada...

A fellow Canadian FT shooter pointed me to this site, and so far I'm really enjoying it.

I have only been shooting for 3 years, by really like it, both Piston and PCP. I only shoot sub 12fpe now.

Canada has a very small FT community; less than 50 in a population of 34 Million.

I *think* this is because of our silly shooting laws; anything over 500fps needs to be registered, regardless of energy (so a Crosman Trapmaster that can push a 120gn slug at 450fps is okay, but a 550fps 8gn pellet rifle isn't!)

While it's not too tough to get a FAC license, most who do go straight to powder burners.

BUT we're a dedicated bunch; a handful of us goto the US Nats each year and I think next year you'll see more than one of us at the WFTF Championships in Italy.

Default Welcome

I would believe the other competitor you spoke to from Canada might have been George.

It was nice to see George in Hungary as the last time we chatted was in South Africa. He explained he was hoping to get more people involved from Canada and try to tempt them to go to Italy.

Glad your on board the breeze.
