Default Nikon Prostaf BDC reticule

I have been looking for a light compact HFT scope and came across the Nikon Prostaf 3-9x40 which has the BDC reticule. The ret apears to have small circles at half mil dot spacing and could take the guesswork out of the 40 yd targets. The Nikon range seems well made with good optics and should re-paralax to 25 yd easily.

Has anyone else out there tried this scope or the Nikon BDC ret for HFT with any success.

My son, Guy G on here, has 2 Monarchs with this ret, 1 on a 77K the other on a DS MK4, he uses them only for HFT, and loves them.

Think Simon Vant also uses 1.

How do you re-paralax this scope?? Mate of mine has just bought one and needs to do it.
