Cheers guys, keep em coming... (see more notes at top post)

Luger, are you sure about those minimum focus ranges? I thought the mk1 only came down to 10 yds as well, but i think some re-parallax them.

Mk1 Nikko for me with Nato ret.

Most Nikkos come down to 10 yards when you buy them but they can be reparallaxed. Closest I ever managed with one was 8.5 yards but all others gave up the ghost at 55 yards if I took them below 9 yards (I have owned a few)

Current scope is set to 10 yards and I have a close focus adaptor on it - the closer you bring it the smaller the gap at the top end gets.

Dave.

Nikko Mk 2 (same design as Mk.1 but with green turrets and mag ring) can only focus down to 10 yards.

Bushnell Elite 4200 8-32x40 (not 44), still in production, focuses down to 10yds minimum. I think now only duplex ("Multi-X") is available from factory. Mildot's seem to be fitted aftermarket. 2nd hand price around 300.

Rob,

The older FT shooters might be able to help with the details of this, EFR on the end rings a bell.. Simon Young used one a few years ago on his GC2, has a ladder reticule set up for Barracuda match or BisMags. Would search but works IS has blocks on quite a few types of website

Is that the sidewheel version?

Or the AO version?

EDIT: there's no 8-32 sidewheel on that link.
Sidewheel 6-24 parallaxes to 25 yds minimum

Edit again: I think the picture on the Bushnell catalogue page might be wrong.
