I had one on demo for a bit, very nice thing, but I couldn't get the ret to come crisp after re parrallexing. Wouldn't wind in enough (though I have this problem with lots of scopes). With your "contacts" mate I'm you sure you can "find" a nightforce from somewhere *Failing that you'll be OK with a vortex if you don't have the eye piece screwed all the way in normally? The ret is more useful than the nightforce tbh too.

Cheers for all the feedback gents, it's appreciated.

I'm going to have to have a good look through one properly myself as soon as I see one properly. Like a few of you have mentioned on here scopes are incredibly personal things.

Ret. wise I think I'd go with MRAD as after running a few quick calls .2 MOA markings wouldn't be great for use as aim points with my current set up.

After having looked through both Marks and Micks scopes I can confirm that they both have extreme vision defects...LOL.
I have looked through 3 or 4 now and they are superb in my opinion. I am now using a couple of Leup mk4 scopes which I find easy on my eyes but after trying just about every hft scope available, the little vortexis the only other scope that I would consider to the mk Leups. The 10x42 sightrons are very very good, but dont have the depth of field that the the others above have to my eyes. They are all very clear and sharp though.

I had one on loan to give it a try, the front was easily adjusted to allow the px to be set shorter. I found it a bit px'y at 45y for me though, I have to wind the ocular quite far out on my scopes and this often makes a scope behave like that when they can be very different for someone who has the ocular further in. As with all scopes, you cant beat trying one for yourself! I liked the ret and the glass was lovely.

I'm at kibworth this Saturday visiting the in laws. However the following Saturday I should be able to pop up and you could teach me how to shoot again.
