Default Vortex PST 2.5-10x32 FFP MRAD/MOA Ret.

Has anybody one here used one of these for HFT. I'm looking to change scop s and I'm on the look out for another keeper and this from the outside looks like a potential winner. I understand that it would require reparalxing, has anybody done this and is it as easy as other scopes to do.

If do decide to get one I think I'd go with and MRAD Ret as I don't think I'd benefit as much f on the MOA ret.

Any feedback is welcome.

Many thanks

Hi Kieran

I've got the MOA version, haven't done that many comps with it due to dodgy back at mo. It's a very good scope for HFT IMHO.

Mine has the front end lose so I could reparalax it but find i prefer the lowest factory setting, mine was already done but I've heard they are easy to losen (don't know how true that is)
The parallax is about 25 on mine, I've got weird eyes though, 20y is slightly blurred and so is 30y. I think according to official spec it's supposed to be 35y lowest px setting

As much as it pains me to say it, I think your money would be better spent on a Sightron 10x42siii.....

I personally had issue with White out, that appears more on reparalaxed scopes, only in certain light conditions mind, and still evident in most scopes, just more manageable in what I have now...

Shows how personal scopes are, I've not had any issue with white out (yet) reparalaxed or not. But I had major parallax issue's with a sightron 10x42 siii I had.

I use them for HFT. Superb piece of kit. No white out even in the most challenging of sun conditions. Mine had all been reparallaxed before I got them. Image just softens at 45 (though not blurred) and starts to blur at about 13 close in, although with a slight closing of the eye can still be brought focused even at 8.
