Default CSFTA winter league round 2.

Afternoon CSFTA'ers. After a very bleak start to the morning with torrential rain and a fair bit of wind the sun came out 5 minutes before we started what turned out to be a very pleasant morning. 47 shooters in total made this the biggest turn out for some time.

Scores attached, team scores a little later once I sort out a bug in the FT-o-matic but it's tight! Well done to Woody and Glenn on top scores of 38

Default Team scores

Well done NOFTC 1 on taking first place in the team event. Noticed that I've given Andy Slade a score despite him being on holiday, now corrected!

Well today was definately one of 2 different weathers.

It was chucking down until about 9 then a few showers. However come 10am the sun came out and a interesting wind. Stayed that way for the rest of the shoot.

Well done to the Buccaneers for an excellent shoot. Very interesting course with wind that was varied in strength from target to target. Top score of 38.

2 weeks to go until the next round at Meon Valley. The rounds are coming thick and fast, so see you all in weeks time.

Two very enjoyable rounds down already, cheers to all involved in both, it's been a lot of fun and a steep learning curve, looking forward to the next one already.

Thanks all for a really enjoyable shoot, especially to the Buccs for turning off the water and turning on the sunshine just as we all started. A course that certainly kept me thinking and demanded my full attention. Plenty of smiles around and the competition in both individual and teams is as tight as it gets.
Nice to see some new faces at the ft shoots and some old ones back in the league.
Cheers all, top stuff. Looking forward to Meon.

Thanks to everyone that braved the weather to come and shoot at the Bucc's, the weather when most of you set out must have been atrocious and I bet a few thought we'd end up with an abandoned shoot (myself included). But, it turned out to be a marvellous morning with bright sunshine and a moderately mild but devilish wind so I'm really appreciative that you made a leap of faith!

See you all in a couple of weeks

Monty

My first time shooting FT for some 8yrs or so and when I woke up to head to the shoot I'd wondered if I'd picked the right day to return Thankfully the clouds parted and the sun shone on what was a thoroughly enjoyable day many thanks to all involved and I'll see you all again at my home ground for round 3 in a few weeks time.
All the best
Vince
