yep, plenty for sale, one of the biggest problems people I have spoken to who have been selling them is the weight,

they are a heavy piece of gear which the weight can be easily reduced so its just like any other air rifle people buy them , get bored of them then sell them,

simples really, wouldn,t sell my two though that's for sure and even though I enjoyed my EV2 mk4 it just didn,t feel as nice to shoot as my ftp,s and if I,m honest accuracy wise it was not as good as either,

by the way plenty of them for sale also like many other air rifles

A strange thread to start indeed :-)

Mine has pin point accuracy, reduced the weight by using the floating kit which offset the scope weight. Not heavy at all, compared to a standard S400 yes it is, against a full FT rig it's probably lighter.

You have to spend some real time setting the stock up, once there it's a phenomenal bit of kit.
Never selling mine.

have to say the feel of the ftp is superb, as said above I,ve spent ages getting the setup right, I could not get on tith the standard butthook so ended up changing both for the anchutz 4765,s feels much better and has certainly improved my standers even though I,ve spent 2 billion hours on the range lol,

the weight doesn,t bother me, infact I think the weight adds to the stability of the rifle,

the only downside I have found with the ftp,s is the standard regs, they are poorly put together but once sorted can certainly shoot very very well,

time will tell just how good they are

Default FTP900 reg

Evo, totally agree about how poor the reg is. Just replaced mine with a Huma from Darrin at XTX Air, way better consistency.

Just got my Galahad, waiting to see if it's any better rigged.

Rob.

yep the regs are poor when they come from the factory, they can be worked on to make them shoot a bit better but personally I went for an ostler reg and stripper, just doing side by side tests this week over the chrono so it will be interesting to see the results,

xtx did a mod and service on my air ranger and Darren did a superb job, its actually my all time favourite hunting rifle, it shoots great to 50 yrds and groups very well, he does use huma,s but Darren also uses Airtech regs also, as Carl has done plenty of work for him, Carls regs are superb in the BSA,s

Default Ftp900

I also like my ftp now that its shooting properly.
I had a Huma regulator fitted after finding the AA regulator in such poor condition.
