Haven't used one though I have tried one on a rifle and it wasn't great. Ranging wasn't bad, but for ED glass the optical quality just wasn't there. Pity really.

Could you compare it to a big nikko?

Default scope

Rather have the big nikko although some are better than others.

I would have a bad copy of a Nikko all day long. You really need to try one and make your own mind up though.

I have a different sidewinder that I use in the US for HFT and I like it fine, but the turrets are pure mush and I would never want to use it for clicking. It is a 3-12x50 and the clarity is as good as any other scope I have, but if the one you are thinking about has turrets like my 3-12, I'd look elsewhere.
