If you were a little closer Mike we would loved to have popped in, also it's my wife & my anniversary tomorrow & I am pushing my luck taking the lad for a half days shoot as it is mate.

I will endeavour to visit you lot soon you can be sure. I see you guys at plenty of comps so I should make the effort as well, just on this occasion I can't sorry mate.

Hope things run smooth & no hiccups (theres always one :-) ) & enjoy the day lads.

Hi All

What a day! After setting up in a torrential downpour yesterday, it was a real relief this morning to see the sun putting in a welcome appearance

Thanks to everyone who turned out, and as usual a great turn out from our friends from West Sussex, with Charles winning a well deserved 3rd place shoot off.

Apologies for the lack of burger van, unfortunately because of the very last minute notice that it would not be there, we did not have a back up plan, so sorry for all those that had to shoot the course on rumbling stomach's (won happen next time...promise)

Well done to all class winners.......especially as all three were from Meon

Thanks to my shooting partners Mick & Mel & to Lewis, Graham and Charles who were on the peg behind who kept it entertaining......especially when one of them shot the wrong target! No names..happens to us all but I'm just glad that he's human after all! Lol.

And thanks for the pleasure of shooting with you and Mick. Great company and lots of useful tips along the way for me to take forward in my early days of shooting.

Mel.

The pleasure was definitely both mine & Mick's, glad you enjoyed yourself, hopefully we managed to behave like the gentlemen that we are (or not ) unlike that rowdy uncouth lot from "Mile Oaks" that were behind us

Considering that you haven't been involved in FT for very long and shooting in a completely different environment, I thought you done brill, especially seeing as your partner buggered off to the I.O.W.!!...LOL! And left you in the clutches of us lot! .

Next time Mel, I expect you to show Mick and I just how the course should be shot.

Good luck with the rest of your shooting Mel.
