Default Rifle

I contacted Ataman months ago to try and purchase a Ataman M2 (Daystate Tsar) they told me that they would be using Daystate as the Uk supplier soon,as far as I am aware it's produced by Ataman and renamed by Daystate for the UK

IIRC it's the same as AA did back in the early '90's I think when they used the Czech made CA100 10 mtr rifle.
Renaming it the RN10 ( RN being for Robert 'Bob' Nicholls and the 10 for it's origin as a 10 mtr rifle) it replaced the NJR100 FT rifle and then it was further 'developed' into the Mk 2 , Mk3 and then of course the EV's and finally the FTP900.

Cheers,
Lofty

I was at the same shoot, and saw the same rifle.

There are some bits I like and some I don't.

There will be several being shot at the Europeans, so I'll try to blag a few shots there.

I liked the look, the barrel/shroud fitment wasn't that good, apart from that I thought the finish was ok,yes real user input is more than welcome if you get chance to shoot it,Tony was shooting it today when I saw it,seemed to be as accurate as any other high end target rifle
I'd like to see a couple of strings shot over a chrono with it out of curiosity

I like the look of it. It sort of reminds of an EV/Anshutz cross over. Hope it does well,it'll be nice to see another british company at the top.

Not keen on the lines at all, looks like it was designed by committee, awful.
