Default Nikko

I've owned both of these scopes
I think the t50 is excellent but the nikko beats it for me(love nato ret)if you've got the extra cash I would go with the big nikko!!

I had the silver LM version and was very happy with it, unbeatable quality/price ratio, the new owner is also I understand very happy with it.

Ive had a T50 for 7 months now and find it very good, range find and shoot on 40 mag no probs. Most At my club have either the T50 or big Niko, Don't forget it's about 300 or so squids cheaper than a big Niko.

indeed I am. I have a big nikko too, and to be honest, there is little between them. the falcon also has all the extras you require. if I were buying new, I would choose the falcon, a lot of scope for the money, when you start adding all the extra bits, turrets, wheel, sunshades the difference is substantial.

Now't wrong with a T50 dude.
Don't snap in as crisp as the Nikko but perfectly fine for blokes at our level .
Infact, i've just treated myself to a nice silver one !

Thumbs up

I agree with Gary,
I have the silver T50. I am settled with it now, had a second hand one since January.
Darren (my Hubby) loves his Big Nikko MkII.

For brightness at 50 mag I think mine pips it.

They're as good as each other for range finding. Darren will tell you the Nikko is crisper in and out of focus .
Darren has a sharks fin, I have the original T50 wheel.

These things are personal. Everyone's eyes are different.

I'm not jealous and am not in the market for a Big Nikko. Now I am used to my Falcon, my range finding has improved greatly. I made zero mistakes the last few weeks.

I don't take the Sun shades off (can't tell any difference in the shade with the shade off or on) and it stops water on the glass when there are wet leaves about.

Bear in mind the caveat we have only been shooting FT Since October so our experience is limited.
