Default Dowry Hill Winter league 2017

Just a heads up for our shoot on Sunday, time to get back into the MFTA winter league after the Christmas break.

Visitors please note...

The car park has been opened up a little since our last shoot. However we will organise the parking to enable those shooting in the early session a means of escape should they wish to get home to their roast dinner. So please park as directed and we shouldn't have any problems.

Please also remember that the club is also used by members for other disciplines and some of those members may be shooting competition cards and treat them as you would wish to be treated.

Lastly (for now), as many of you already know, we borrow the field that we shoot in. Should a member of the public stray into the field stop shooting immediately and one of our marshals will deal with it. Footpaths also pass very close by but I'm sure I don't need to remind everyone to be careful where their rifles are pointing and be courteous to any spectators.

Thanks everyone and we're looking forward to seeing you on Sunday

Regards

Dowry FT

PS Burger van should be on site and remember to wipe your feet when entering the clubhouse

Right, I think we are organised and ready for tomorrow.

Practice range and silhouettes are on the 100m range and the main course is in the woodland and field.

See you all tomorrow

James

Default Winter League

Great course today - weather made it hard for me but still enjoyed the coffee, bacon and sausage bap at the end lol.

Thanks to Rod for the company on the way round and to everyone who helped set the course, the marshalls and the admin team.

Default Thank you

The weather perhaps made shooting a little less than comfortable today but I'd like to thank those of you who braved the weather to support our shoot.

I hope you all enjoyed it and felt it was worth the effort in the rain

Special thanks to Sue for being my shooting buddy today, maybe that husky voice helped me to shoot well Hope you are feeling tip top soon.

Cheers

James

ps We found a little spirit level when we were clearing up, let me know if it yours and you want it back.
