I am certainly no FT expert but I think the climate conditions may make it difficult for the home contingent, they are not used to shooting in the extremes of temperature that they will probably encounter. Not to mention the effect on the equipment. I hope I am proved wrong.

They have about 2 days to get their heads around the effects of Portugal , my guess it will take them no more than 10 minutes.

Just arrived. All safe n sound. Just going to start the acclimatisation process in the bar, that's in the swimming pool. Might be some time.

The way Stenton and Gillyard were shooting this week in practice their definitely tipped for a top 10 finish and not just going to make up the numbers.

They were fine. They seem to be in the swing of things now. There's a big list of all the competitors they had so a cursory glance and you're on your way.

Woman who was also waiting at customs nearly let her false teeth drop out when they opened my case.
