If I remember correctly that was the Sightron SV using the FAST system and it did indeed move up and left while fine tuning it at Millride.

To achieve no POI shift, it needs each of the glass elements to be perfectly ground, to be mounted precisely on the optical centre, the centres of all elements to line up, and the mechanism that moves when the focussing wheel is turned to have no play, yet be free enough to move. That is a big ask and it's frankly a nice surprise that the mid-range scopes are so good.
