Default Best scope warrantee

Who offers the best after sales warrantee on their scopes?
For me leupold seem to be the market leaders in this department , with a no quibble attitude .
Do any of the other manufacturers offer this level of cover?

I have had excellent service from Burris in the past with repairs and replacement scopes from their no quibble warrantee. But,,,,, you can no longer send scopes back to Burris due to new IRTA regulations, you now have to deal with them through GMK acting as their UK agent. I am trying to get one sent back now for a repair but getting nowhere fast with GMK!! It has taken a week to get an email reply and now they are asking for proof of purchase, something Burris never asked for! So the amazing Warrantee Burris offer may now be out of reach for UK owners. I will keep STB posted on the progress.

Warranty Information

Every Burris optic is covered by the Burris Forever Warranty™. We will repair or replace your Burris optic if it is defective. The warranty is automatically transferred to future owners.
•No repair or replacement charge
•No warranty card needed
•No receipt needed
•No questions asked

Seems they are now asking for proof of purchase but their Warranty info still says otherwise!

Does that also apply to second hand scopes?

I had to return a Leup comp for indexing problems , sent it to Harald Ross when he was the agent. It came back with both turret mecs changed and a full service , in my opinion that's top draw.
I'm on the look out for some new glass , yes I'm bored.
There's nothing wrong with my mk1 nikko but it's not going to last forever and if I'm honest it's heavy.
I don't mind spending my money on quality but would like a good warrantee with it for the second owner.

Not sure on that mate, you'd have to ask John.

I rang John at Aim before I bought brand new from him and he said as long as it's come through Aim Fieldsports warranty is good but if it's a grey import he would not touch it
Hence the reason I bought new.. Piece of mind and all that
So if it's a second hand sightron but came through Aim warranty is good as it will be registered with serial number..

I can confirm this comment is correct, mine which I had bought S/Hand developed a fault, John at Aim was very helpfull as it was bought from his shop originally. It went back to the USA for repair, was away for about 3 weeks. Came back fully serviced and is spot on.
