Default SMK pp700w pistol, adjusting trigger weight

Just bought a SMK pp700w pistol for hft and ft pistol comps. The trigger is very heavy, and the instructions with the pistol do not cover this. Does anyone know how to make it a lighter pull? There is an Allen key grub that adjusts 1st to 2nd stage next to the trigger, but that's all I can see.

I don't know, someone else here might but your best bet is registering with the UK Chinese Airgun forum, plenty advise there on SMK guns.

Hi Bob,

First thing is to put it through the chrono.

My guess is it maybe a little high.

Open up the Ventura on the load block. Take the pistol grip off with the 2 bolts at the side. There is a big nut at bottom that works a spring that acts on the hammer. You can back the hammer off until you get the right power.

This also takes pressure off the trigger. As you mentioned you then can move the first stage.

This sorted mine our brilliantly first time out.

The hammer can also be tight a little polish can help.

If it's still heavy give me a shout.
