Default Cigonani Rest

There are expensive, but worth having if you are going to be serious about benchrest. You may be lucky and find a secondhand one; try the UKBR22 website.

Default Benchrest shooting

Ok, just had a shock at the cost of the rests.

Good job I kept the foundry tooling for the one I had made back in about 1992

I will dig mine out and post a photo on here.

Default The red thing

Sorry should have explained - that is a foundry pattern when the casting is machined it can take different legs. The one I cant find is the multi adjustable one that has Ex post office "Centre" bubbles in each leg to maintain all legs level. The rest takes the rifle stock and clamps in position. The one shown is a basic - one I used for sighting in with as well as using it at Aldersley Stadium Wolverhampton on the Bench rest air-rifle range back in the early 1990's.
One of the sand bags is in the boot of my car at the moment.

I will have to check up on the rules as they have more than likely changed since I last shot bench rest back in 1994.

Both myself and my wife use Cicognani rests

I bought mine direct from factory but then Intershoot started to supply them.

However I have heard that Intershoot no longer stock them so unless you can see one second hand, then buying direct from the factory is the way to go.

The build quality is excellent. We have 6 shooters in our club using them

John
