I've tried to find out if that's right but I've had no luck yet I don't know about the 5 but since there doesn't seem to be any word on how much the actual fee is going to be yet so you could be right.

To me being new to all this and a bit of a cynic I would say a nice revenue generating fee will be a driving force for us all to have to have a licence at some point

I doubt it, it will cost a fortune as they do not have a fraction of the staff needed to deal with it. The police reckon they lose money on SGC and FAC certs in the UK now.

I alway`s thought Scotland was a place where men were men . but now airgun licencing over keen mobile speed cameras , masses of average speed cameras etc it really is becoming a Nanny state. soon need a licence from old fishy to blow your nose. its really gone down hill in the last 20 years. i really hope England never get`s so bad.
