it really depends on your budget,,, BUT,,, as has been said, the air arms s510 ultimate sporter is a superb bit of kit,,

I bought one a couple of months ago and all I can say is it was totally awesome, very very accurate out the box, I certainly preferred it to my hw100KT that's for sure,, you wont go wrong with the ultimate sporter to use for hunting and/or HFT, also rowan do the single shot loader,,

mine was the most accurate rifle I have owned straight out the box and was not pellet fussy either unlike my hw100 which I bought new but just could not get on with, the sporter is also very adjustable also, you wont go wrong with one

While I am a fan of the BSA ultra and my own BSA is based on this action the Ultra will be a bit short on shot count in .177, yes it will do enough to get you round an HFT course but something with a larger air capacity will allow you to just use the middle of the fill to keep the rifle in its sweet spot.
HFT, for people with only 2 buttucks!
