Default buying pellets by batch?

so ive recently been shown how not just the pellet but a particular batch of pellets can respond better in my gun (im pretty new to all this)
so im after a little advice on pellet buying.....ive found some great jsb exact 4.53 that stay straight to 50 yards and my gun loves them]
i had other batches of the same pellet but they werent as good

so obviously i want some more of this batch

do you just phone all the suppliers and ask them to check their batch numbers or is their another way i havent found yet?

any advice appreciated. thankyou

Keep a keen eye on intershoot, shame suppliers dont advertise this info generally

You can also try JSB-diabolos.de very helpful with batches and a great service all round.
I think they reopen tomorrow after their summer vacation...

Yeh they're good.

At the moment the euro isn't that great but you can still get tins to your door for cheaper than I've found elsewhere.

If you send an email to them about what batches are in stock you'll get a reply on what are in and also amounts so you can judge if you want to buy some and test or just grab a batch.

How does the batch and die numbers work on air arms field pellets?.
It's set out slightly different on the label with an "S2" in the mix also.

Is it the same as jsb with first number top left batch?, or the last number bottom right die?
