Stick to an s400, when you sell it on after someone will want to buy it unlike the hatsan!

That actually says more about the PCP shooters to me.

Over here there are a few guys using cheaper springers and doing well in HFT.
The current leader of the National championship (springer class) uses a HW50 (tuned) and he won the Championship last year.

I know it's an old thread but your 'Hatsan' answer keeps making me smile, they really are a terrible gun ( the AT44) simply awful!!

A few weeks ago I got a nice 2nd hand cz 200s for the step kids to take up shooting & maybe HFT with. The rifle has got a nice sport stock has standard but the bloke who I brought it off had also got for sale a nice 2 piece target stock what tench owned \ modded for HFT use. The rifle is cracking in my eyes it comes fitted with an extended cylinder along with a quick fill adaptor, & is also fitted with a Huma internal regulator plus a HW silencer off my hw100. I have put on a nice little scope by Hawke, Airmax 2-7×32 AO AMX ret. The overall price including the extra stock & scope etc under £500 it will last a long time & do the kids proud for some time.
