Default Far Coley GP tomorrow

Just a reminder for everyone attending tomorrow, please use this postcode ST18-0XB the shooting ground is clearly marked from this location. There has been a lot of preparation over the past two weeks as the whole wood needed strmming and braches cut to make the ground viable for a shoot. I have designed a very challenging course for tomorrow as the strong winds are due to drop somewhat. Please park your cars in a respectable fashion as Big Phil will be on car parking duty. Only use the bottom field as an overspill. Please note that only members of the club and BFTA officials will be allowed to park up by the shed as parking is limited here and we need the room for the snapping wagon. A big thanks to those who have helped with the course....Big Phil Glover, Ian Jerram, Keith Hassell and Dave Killen.

See you all tomorrow. Neil.

Default Thank You for an awesome day

Far Coley yesterday, was our first ever GP. In fact before yesterday we had only heard of Far Coley from a couple we met at The Greyhound who are members and, like us, are new to shooting... even though it's probably our closet FT club.

If you do FT courses on Sundays we would love to come regularly.

Anyway, I would like to thank whoever did all the hard work and organising. ... We (Darren and I) were really impressed with the signs so we found the parking easily.
Loos and refreshments were handy and the atmosphere was pretty much as relaxed and friendly as we now come to expect from the MFTA meets.
We met some great new people and had a lot of fun.
My catch phrase was 'its just for fun' after every dink. I was well chuffed to get 70% of the disciplines woohoo!
50 targets... wow! We did it and went home and went to sleep LOL.

Great day.
