Do you know what magnification you might shoot on?

If you are going to shoot on low (for FT) mag of 20 power then the mil dot is okay. That ret is designed to be used at 10 or 20 power. At the typical FT mags of 30 plus the nato is probably better. As much as anything the big nikko mil dot ret is not a very nice one!

[QUOTE=Brian.Samson;237670]Why not have a play on the Windeeze game

As an example, if previously you were used to say giving 1 mildot of wind, would you find it confusing to now have to give 2.5 mildots of wind instead?

I seem to be in the position of deciding on a Falcon t50 or new IR Nikkon.Last week I shot both in a FT format using mil dots and would be happy using both on mildots.I have not tried nato as club members do not have them.
As far as wind My last FT scope a premier boosted 14.5-34x had a custom reticle with parallel lines to match to front pa rangeing and I allowed windage by aiming off by percentage of kill dias.
Adjustment to either would not be a problem.
By the way Brian the turret is amazing, not put it on Bushnell yet but you could not machine one the cost would be horrendous.Nice very nice.

Thanks all gone for a new T50 that only comes in Mildot decision made for me, guess it's all I know anyway,
Didn't realise there were 2 versions of T50 same money I went for T50 LM in silver The LM is a light management lens supposedly lets more light in woodland conditions.
Cheers all
