No idea but at last weekends GP I would have given blood for a IR ret on my Leup as targets were dark and in the dark, I can see it as a useful addition to the big nikko

My Nikko mk3 is ace, I brought another mk3 for my spare set up and didn't like it as much so I changed it for a Leup Comp which now I'm getting used to I prefer over my mk3.

Just got a big nikko with illuminated graticle, seems to be ok but one small problem.
The supplied wheel when located to peg on parallexing turret is 90 out.WHEN turret at 10 degrees mark aligned with location spot on scope, wheel is then at infinity.90 degrees out.
Is this the norm or a manufacturing/assembly hiccup.
Also the information pamphlet has nothing to do with the nikko diamond10-50x60 saddle parallex adjustment.Just shows how to use front PA.
Picking your brains would sportsmatch large ATP61 adjustable mounts be ok or do I need risers to keep best scope range.
The ATP61 should give me about 4/5mm scope front end clearance.

Yes the supplied side wheel marking are well off, but it's that heavy nobody will use it anyway, a custom side wheel will be much better.
It ranges finds very well and optics are surprisingly good. Sunshade isn't supplied with it and it will need a rubber eye piece.

Only the centre dot lights up on illuminated model.

Is it snappy like a mark 1 or Leupy like a mark 3?

Seems ok,clearer at max mag than Falcon T50 or older Big Nikko, they seem greyish, whereas this is slightly hazy becomming clearer as mag is reduced.
Was impressed with older Nikko snap in and out;as IR scope not mounted on rifle at moment and rested on pillow and hand held will see how it performs at club on rifle(if mounts arrive eventually).
Dot lights up,not sure if it was worth the extra though.Might help on resale later? Was looking at Sightron, priciar, but a lot of goodies come with it though.

Supplied wheel is rubbish , its just not big enough to differentiate at the top of the range - where it matters.

I find that the scope range finds really accurately and has no problems. It's very well made with Japanese Glass.

Ryan took the supplied wheel and replaced it with a new one which has two slots to fit the IR and previous models.
However as has been said, why supply a wheel no one will use; better to forgo it and reduce the price of the scope.
