Thanks again for all the replys.

Prefer the aluminium stock over the wooden one, although I understand the reasoning behind it.

Looking at the competition or economy models.
Main price difference seems to be from the butpad and optics.
Most other things seem common across them.

I understand that Hasselhorst will not ship to the UK any more and people have had orders cancelled and money returned.

Cheers again all.
MAD for it.

As for which model, I would always go for a wooden stock as it requires less heat to warm up than an alloy one, I know you have experience of alloy stocks so I suppose it comes down to your personal preference.

But I like this one!

That one is ambi with the cocking switchable to either side.

Simon ,
looks like you are going to be needing an lg300 reg ........if you are going to do a bolt on conversion , rather than make up your own system.

If so , get on to it quick , as judith billharz told Rob that walther prices are about to take a big hike .

That might go for rifles too .....Dunno

Alex have you tried looking through the configurator
Yes I believe all the actions are the same now and come with absorber and cocking lever can be swapped on all models. but there are just extras such as 3d pistol grip adjustment choice of cylinders, hamster upgrade butt pad and choice of short or long cheek piece and butt pad extensions and the choice of blue laminate or the pro touch wood work. I bought mine without sights and saved a few 's
I like the wooden stocks also but loads of adjustment on the stock lured me towards the alutec
You can have a little play with mine if you want.
