Default EV2 MK4 zero shift?????

I have just purchased an ev2 mk4 and I was wondering if anyone has experienced zero shift with there's as the standard air stripper sit's on the windicator so not truly free floating.

I'm just wondering if it's worth investing in a after market air stripper like the Rowan one or stick with the original or even spin the windicator around a bit.

Looking at what people do to the ftp they free float that also.

Is the zero shift left and right?

A club member had this which moved every time he took it in and out of his bag. We removed the screw to make it free floating it moved about 3mm.

my ev2 mk4 had the standard air stripper removed because it does nothing at all, once removed then where it connectsto the original stripper this was dremmel,d off and polished smooth, I then sent it to john ostler who fitted his own designed and built air stripper , so far the results have been superb
