Default Custom stock - lop

I am having a stock made for me and I understand the formal way to measure lop, I am just wondering with the three positions of FT should I be calculating lop differently?

The LOP will normally be shorter for standers than sitting/kneeling.

If you are having a custom stcok made then consider an adjustable LOP so you can experiment and set it up for each position.

I would go the recognised route, crook of arm to pad of trigger finger. The compromise is with butt pad alignment this can be optimised by varying its position I don't do FT, so don't know if butt position can be changed once competition started. I do HFT and butt position change is not allowed.
