Default RETS, mildots vs nato

This may have been done before,I am thinking about a new scope so would like your thoughts on going for a mildot or nato scope. The scope I have been looking at is the Nikko Sterling Diamond Sportsman 10-50-60 thanks in advance.

I prefer the Nato reticule, mostly because the lines are fine, which I prefer.

NATO is the best of the two for FT

Mil dots for me as they are very easy to remember & applying hold off etc.

Default mill dot vrs nato ret.

Mill dots are fine if you want to use hold over, which HFT, but if you are shooting FT to be precise, you have to dial in on your targets.

That's my through on the difference.

NATO for me. I just prefer the longer lines for ease of windage. The ones beneath make good reference lines for close targets.
