Default Zeroing range

Hi friends,
I got me new ev2 mk4 and now I fitted the new bushnell elite 6500 2.5-16x42 on top with medium mounts ,today I zerod the rifle @30mtr and it all went well coz the 40 mt just dropped 1 mill as im shooting @10mag and 22 yard prallax ,My big question is it normal for hft to be zerod @30 coz from 20-25mtr it went half mill above crosshair,
thanks for all your help,

I'm zeroed at 35 yds with 15yds as my secondary zero and hold under (aim low) at 20 and 25yds.

Hi Wayne,
some people like a zero at zenith, top of ballistic curve, so all their shots are at target or holdover. As your zero is beyond zenith then you would expect to hold under for targets around 20-30 yards.
Have you used Chairgun?
It is free software and great for helping set up your rifle.
