Thumbs up york hft

Well done to Dan on his 59 (who I shot with) and all the others who match him.
Great start to the HFT season thanks to the lads from York who put the effort into laying out the coarse.

Not too impressed with the pistol shoot or the silhouettes on account of the lack of contrast between the targets and surrounding foliage, shooting into the sun didn't make it any easier. It would be better to paint the targets a different colour or put a black back stop to them as Ponty did last year.

Looking forward to the next shoot at Redfearns lets hope the weather is as kind to us as it was today.

Thanks to the guys @ York.

I like the 2 targets per lane but it was all over quite quick.

Thanks to York for the shoot today, I enjoyed myself and got my PB on the HFT. I wish I'd remembered my pistol though!

I like the two targets to a peg, it seems to work quite well but I only know it from the Emley extremes I've done previously

Cheers. Nigel O

Thanks to Dave and Nigel for holding my hand round the course today - my first comp and I really enjoyed it - learned a lot more than I do plinking from the bench!
