Default Gp1 avon hawkes

Just got back and having a cup of tea. What a start to the GP season, the course I thought was as good as it gets with something for every one. The wind was tricky but fair. The members of AVON HAWKES should be proud of them selves with such a good venue and set up overall. I know I am as SWEFTA secretary.
I will mention that the lucky git I am in winning the shooting jacket, and all thanks to INTERSHOOT and Kevin along with others getting these items as prizes.

Thanks to all.

Many thanks to Avon Hawks for a top GP today. Real old school feel to the course. lovely ground and well thought out firing line - in particular great work with the flat shooting bases; especially on discipline lanes - other clubs please take note!
3+ hr drive back to kent but will look forward to going back for next shoot there.

First time at this ground and if there is another shoot I will go again.

A great course just wish my shooting, poor is the kindest word I could use, was up to scratch. A long looking course but actually not as long as you thought. Just need to understand what went wrong with me. Missed to many either high or low. Thought I was turn out so sacrificed a close target to knock it down.

Thanks to Jonathan for partnering me and home he gets rid if his cild/flu quickly.
