Default Gun case for FT setup

hello all,

Can someone recommend a decent bag for my FT setup, looking on t'interweb but having no joy for a quality bag, needs to be quite deep for my MPR with fixed hamster and Big Nikko.

Any advice would be appreciated.

Thanks,

Paul

Default good ft bag

There 14" deep one handled my walther and big nikko, hamster rig very well. Nicely made and good value. Good company to deal with as well.
Only issue with the one I had was that the egg box foam in lid was not fixed, which was a bit of a pain sometimes.

Fantastic bag! Carries everything I need in the pockets and my (quite large) outfit.

Downside is it won't fit across the back of my estate car. But then if it did, it would probably be too small for my gun. Goes in with a seat folded down or across the back seat.

The other thing to be aware of if you intend carrying your gun around a course with it.....If you fill it up with all your stuff, and you will, It ends up very heavy. I don't use mine on the course.

Great bloke to deal with too.

Agreed. The foam and the short handles I have are probably my niggles with it.I'd like to get one that isn't so deep.

They're my only niggles though.

Mine didn't come with egg box foam, its a big bit of ordinary stuff, very dense and thick (had to cut a hole for my sidewheel) which is folded into the bag so the fold is at the bottom of the bag.

Works ok, bit of a bugger closing the bag if you open it flat, but I tend to use mine sliding the gun in or out.

Mine has a single piece of flat foam, which is good for protection but makes the bag incredibly heavy when an FT rig and bits are in it. Bag is good and VERY large.
