Default Cylinder high pressure.

Hello all I've just been to Bolton gun club to zero my steyr lg110. Once zero and working spot on I changed my cylinder to my spare one and tested over a crono and it was shooting 100 fps higher than my main cylinder that was shooting 782fps. Any one got any ideas why.

To jump from 11.6 to 14.6ft/lb, I would say it has to be a chrono error as the air res is down stream of anything that can influence the power. And you need a substantial amount more air released to go up in power that much.
How many shots did you take and did it go back down again when the other cylinder was refitted?

Direct bright sunlight hitting chrono can cause that.

We put dnic's stery though the crono after and it was spot on at 778fps.
We put over 20 shot though the cylinder and it kept on rising.
And my main cylinder was shooting 782fps.
