Hi lads

I'm going to put on a shoot next year on the High Mongolian Plateau. The targets will be a selection of old saucepans and action men dolls. After 3 days of plinking scores will be decided by discussion with disinterested natives. It's going to cost you about 11 grand all-in and involve a 2 week pony trek in both directions, are you up for it?

No more information of any kind will be provided. All rules are subject to change. These changes will be kept secret. The only way that the rules will immerge is through the punishment of infringements, such as being forced to drink fermented goat's milk after striking a doll in a particular part of its anatomy.

F. Kafka

Executive Officer

PS The chief marshal is a noble but short-tempered and incredibly aggressive native of the plateau who has been supplied the rules 3rd-hand through Chinese whispers. These toxic knock-off chocolate snacks have also given him a sugar rush and terrible toothache. He's wild.

Revised FT calander:

Falklands Masters

Siberian Open

Newfoundland Classic

Congo Basin Challenge

Gobi Desert Showdown

Red Interior 80

Best 4 scores to count. Top 10 enter a finals week at Sywell. Top prize is a Patagonian Mousemat.
Falklands masters could be interesting if shot on Onion range (yes onion range) very windy and Barron place but pretty much shoot in any direction you please... Trouble is from memory only one flight in and out a week, then it's a short chopper ride to the range unless you fancy a good trek over the mountains (rather rocky and steep takes a good few hours from experience).

Default Tied scores

The organising committee have confirmed that tied scores at the end of the competition will be resolved with a highly skilled sport. 'Pin the tail on the donkey', each shooter will wear a 3" black blindfold and be spun 360 degrees twice. Closest tail to the correct location in the rear wins. If tied after this then Sudden death occurs.

Sudden death consists of a single clay pigeon being released from a trap 100yrds away from the firing line. Shooters will shoot their rifle from the hip. First person to break the clay wins.
