Default W.A.R Results 31/8/14 Claret Jug

Another glorious day in the Worcester countryside for the fourth round of the W.A.R Claret Jug. The view from the hill today was spectacular. As was the score from Ian Treadwell who posted an incredible 58 ex 60 with a springer; it doesn't get much better than that. Well done that man, truly outstanding shooting.

Well done also to Tony & Rob having a shoot off not knowing that Ian was still out on the course with a 58. PMSL.

Thanks to everyone for observing the minutes silence in memory of Johnny Smith; if you were there you will know what a special moment that was.

Finally, thanks to Jim & Perry for their part in putting the course on for the club. Great course guys, we all appreciate your efforts. Thanks to everyone who came to lend their support today especially the Kinver guys. We will return the gesture in a couple of weeks.

Cheers Mick, I never doubted Ian could ruin the day for a minute!

Well done Ian.

Well done Ian, on your PB today both with a springer and a PCP. Look forward to you taking your skills to a wider audience.

Thanks to the WAR boys for laying on another great course. See you soon.

Big thanks to Jim & Perry for setting the course and to Darrin & Len for the company today.

Finally took Darrin's advice and shot with my contact lenses in instead of my glasses - albeit over two years after he first suggested it

Sorry for spoiling your shoot-off Rob & Tony, not sure where that 58 came from

Some great scores at W.A.R today by the usual suspects Rob,Mick & Tony, but that 58 by Ian with his springer really was special.
Well done to all.
