Firstly credit on the days shooting Mark Bassett pulled it out the bag 49/50 followed by 18/20 on silhouettes absolutely fantastic shooting!
Now, the man that deserves all the credit (sorry Berty)
Andy Calpin, fair play mate with your lowest score throughout the season being a 93%. In my book you deserved it that little bit more, with all that pressure behind you yesterday especially aftr missing your first shot must've been mega tense. Well done mate

Congratulations on your back to back win. It sounds like you had the true grit of a champion after missing your first shot.

Commiserations to mark for pushing you so close. I know how that feels mate. I know you will be back.

Best regards.

Well done Andy, it was a marvel to watch you on the last lanes, and I can only begin to imagine what it felt like dinking target no.1 knowing a drop of more than 2 handed the title to Berty. Putting a 48 in any time is a tall ask that not many have done, putting one in when you need one was even more impressive.

Hats off to Berty who seems to have found the form on a more consistent basis... although we don't have one, there's quite a few shooters these days who deserve to be AAA... there's really some superb shooters out there.

Thumbs up

Thanks to all for the well done's ,really means a lot that there's so many genuinely chuffed for you .

Hard luck to berty . you had me on the ropes ar kid but i managed to scrape a few lucky shots together .
Never known pressure like that before ... truly draining , but didn't get to sleep while about 2 am ( must've been adrenalin ) Well done to all the other competitors / winners too .

Too many folk get on these forums & moan about this , that & the other should be done to make our sport better ....... well ive been at it for a while now & can tell you that by & large we've never had it so good . I put this down to the passion from the bfta officials & all the clubs / regions that put themselves out to give us a mega days sport . So thanks to you all .

Lastly , a big thanks must go to the kind sponsors ,napier & rowan that put up the goodies we all drool over come prize giving .

Cheers , calps .
