Default Average Cost of Postage/Courier for Air Rifle

What is the average cost people are paying to courier rifles across the UK? I keep seeing there are more and more couriers refusing to carry them.

It's not guns which kill people it's the idiot behind them.

ParcelForce48 will deliver an air rifle, it is included in the items they will carry.
The negative part is that the insurance cover is a maximum of 100.
A 5kg parcel would be 12.98 and a 10kg would be 16.40.
You must take the parcel to your local post office, not a ParcelForce depot.

I'd be tempted to ask your local shop who they use, or who the makers use to send to them. After all they must be sending air rifles every day.

the last one I had sent I went through my local rfd.
It cost 25 at both ends and buyer collects at his chosen rfd but piece of mind that if anything happens you are fully insured.
