Default Hermes wont post stock.

I have just tried to post a rifle stock through Hermes and the have flatly refused to collect it saying it is against their policy as it is a component part of a firearm and not just a piece of wood, they also class a scope as a componant and not an optical device.I argued with them but they would not budge.

I suppose that the trouble starts when they loose or damage something. They will argue they are weapons and not covered. See thier terms and conditions.

I had already posted one stock ok but when i tried to post another thats when the trouble started they said they had let one go because it was in the system.Everyhting is x-rayed so putting sporting goods on it wont wash,i declared it as a piece of wood which it is but no joy its a case of its my ball and you aren't playing with it.
