Default W.A.R Results 11/5/2014

Round 2 of the Claret Jug and a fantastic turnout. Yet another testing course set out by Johnny Smith with the wind at it's strongest at the top of the hill. Great to bring the orchard lanes into play and some nice long shots down into the distance.

Things are hotting up at the top with only a few points separating the top shooters. Nice to see Karl up there with the most consistent shooters in the club. John needs to show some of that consistency to get back on top. Four more rounds so plenty to go at. Thanks to everyone for their support yesterday and today and huge applause for Johnny's work at it's very best.

Thanks Mick and Johnny for a taxing course and well done Karl for a coming out on top with the kneeler and stander.

I'd just like to say a big thanks to the lads at WAR for making my lilman very welcome today in his first comp. and to say I'm very proud of him is an understatement!! And to score 23 with a rifle he only used a week ago for the first time and to top it off he isn't 10 until June. Go mason and look out lads in round 3 he's coming for you!!
