Well done Ian, really enjoyed your courses over the years!
I hope your successor is equally as devilish, and maybe you will get some of your own medicine
All the best to you!

Thanks for your huge efforts over the last few years Ian, they've been appreciated, but it'll be nice to see you this side of the firing line.
See you this weekend

Default Good luck

Well that's a bit of a shock, but I suppose all good things come to an end eventually!

Good luck to you next year when you finally get to shoot the Worlds and good luck to whoever sets the second course. They have an extremely tough act to follow.

It's good to know that you will be back as a shooter next year, looking forward to your company again.

All the best.

Can't really put it any better than that Ian. It's always a pleasure to see you mate and i think we should just remind everyone that Ian was instrumental in the MAD combo shoots that raised enough money for 8 Junior combo's alone. See you soon mate.

Ian, thanks for your hard work and legendary course setting abilities. Are you going to write your memoirs now you have retired? Perhaps called 'from 8 to 45 ways to cook up a doughnut'

Well I have only shot one day at the worlds and don't know who you are but as I help out at my club with course setting and know it is hard work to try and please all the shooters and that is only a club shoot not a Worlds competition so I take my hat off to you and wish you well. Darran.

Ian that's fantastic news that your going to take time out for yourself. You have invested so much providing top level courses for everyone else it's about time you got to enjoy shooting again. Your courses will be sadly many of your targets have been. Big shoes to fill but like you say, it gives others a chance to develop.
Many happy returns for the weekend.
MAD for it.

Thank you Ian for all your time and effort you have put in throughout the life of WHFTA, I have enjoyed all of your courses and I genuinely recognise the hard work that you've put into them. Thank you.

Also I am extremely pleased to hear you will be taking time out for yourself, you deserve it.
