Default Steyr advice please

Just wanting some advice please.
According to the steyr video regarding the setting of the stabiliser, it shows it been set so that it becomes flush with the end of the chassis.
I've heard people say that this was done on a 7.5 joules version . I've got mine set as per the factory setting but i can still feel it kick slightly.
Ive fitted new springs and drag ring so it's not worn parts causing it.
Is there another setting for the 16 joules version?
I would of thought that setting it up so it extends further out passed the end of the chassis, would result in the stabiliser slamming into the plastic end stop resulting in more jump.
Any advice or thoughts on this would be much appreciated, cheers guys.
Let your shooting do the talking.
It's not the aim and release that decided the shot, it's the preparations.
