Beeman used to supply test cards with their HW guns and they were shot off a bag with open sights by the tester at 10m. The only problem was that guy was way better than me with my HW80. My friend was a dealer for Beeman back in the 90's and he said he had seen cards with .177 holes come with a .22 gun, so a card matters naught IMO.

the test card should be thrown away with the rest of the wrapping and crap .... studying it just gets between you and the actual target you should be interested in down range
