Default East Devon FTC disaster area

i reckon nearly 80-90 huge trees down in the club area again, from Tuesdays storm. Started to clear up and removed most HFT targets but some under trees we can't find.
We have had to strip 10 lanes of FT as well.
Tonight through Saturday morning there will be no woods left is the likely outcome.

I have asked the members to turn up Sunday for a work session to clear the site but I think I will at the moment take two months.
If there,s anything left the ground will look different for this years GP in August.

That is a real shame that so many of your trees were felled.

A lesson that was learned from the big storm of 87? was...we should have left the trees apparently, they will continue to grow mainly.

Nonetheless your woodland will change for sure.

Worth researching before you take your chainsaws to it, good luck either way!
