Yes I've shot both. My preference is for the Pro-Sport (I have 2...) but only because I prefer the balance further back.

It's essentially the same gun, albeit with different anti-bear trap mechanisms. The big difference is the cocking stroke, and where the lever "parks". TX, with the under barrel lever is more front-heavy, P-S has the weight more between the hands and although heavier, feels lighter to me.

Oh yeah, and the Pro-Sport's prettier!

If you're considering either I strongly suggest you try both. The choice is personal, and for me it's worth it but I know others don't like the P-S. You may well find that you like the looks of one, but the feel of the other suits you better.

Try before you buy!

Jerry's advice is spot on - try before you buy. I have a mk3 tx and love it but fell in love with the prosport looks so bought one. In all honesty I never really got on with it. I found it harder to cock and was more hold sensitive than my tx. I didn't really invest any time with it as it was always the tx that I went for first. I have since sold the prosport and kept the tx. Try both
