Default Greyhound Winter League

Thanks to the people involved in setting up the course today. Good effort and very fairly laid out. This seems to be the thyme on our winters leagues so far with exception of Harriers which was long!

70 shooters attended today.

Top scorer today was Jimmy Osbourne who finally produced a score which we all know he can do.
So well shot Jimmy, life in the old dog yet.

Quick mention for Tim Goodhall as well who shot an impressive 39 as top visitor.

Shooter of the day was close but i`ll give it to Dave Oakes who shot 35 in B class. (sorry Jimmy )

Golden bunny winners today:- 1st Neale Marklew 2nd Steve Fiddler 3rd Bobby Banks.
(see me at next round for your winnings).

I didn't go to Norway to look at rocks & water youth, I went to shoot.

Sorry about your percentage Mark But I think it might be wise to keep the comp sec sweet, it was nice to see the grumpometer turn down a notch or two

I suspect it will be a different story at Sywell

Many thanks to all at Greyhound, and a pleasure to shoot with Tim Goodhall - who only missed his 39th shot.

One of the best courses I think I have shot at the Greyhound this time, well done to all involved.

Nice clearance James, well deserved mate.

A quite tricky course at Greyhound yesterday, seemed to be easy but the wind made some jokes with us... Top shooting James with the first clearance of this Winter League season!

It was a pleasure shooting with you Nick
You shot extremely well, particularly for a first time out, and it will not be too long before you start to work your way through the grades

all the best for the future
